Congratulations to Veronika Saxena, whose observations on efficiency versus effectiveness in optimization, and on bridging strategic aspiration with reality, were insightful, grounded and thoughtfully conveyed. 🙌
We extend our appreciation to everyone who participated and shared their reflections. Each contribution enriched the ongoing exchange of ideas and dialogue on leadership.
As Giveaway 2 unfolds, participants were invited to take part in “Design Your Own Wocktail,” a creative exercise to capture real-world leadership challenges in clever and imaginative ways. 🍸
A glimpse into the finalists:
A. The Grapefruit Fresco: Refreshing, zesty, and full of vitality but not everyone’s first pick on the menu. It’s healthy and full of potential, yet sometimes overlooked. Leading through change means finding the sweetness in what first seems sharp, bringing fresh insights, and encouraging others to see value where they might not expect it. It’s about embracing what’s good for growth, even if it takes a little getting used to.
B. The Virtual Long Island: Deceptively smooth at first, and then I realize that it’s not as ‘easy’ as it seems. The day runs away from me: back-to-back virtual meetings, endless emails, juggling priorities, and managing personalities all at once – plus all remotely! It’s chaotic, a little overwhelming but I push through, never underestimating the thrill. Every day is new, and I try to focus on the positives and keep firm on the objectives.
C. The Authentic Punch – Real & A Little Weird: Authenticity isn’t neat. It curdles before it clarifies. It mixes boldness with vulnerability, uncertainty, and heart. Like milk punch, it takes experimenting: try, taste, adjust. The magic begins when truth and polish don’t blend. As Zappos notes, ‘a little bit weird’ is a strength when turned into connection vs chaos. Start with courage and curiosity; add a dash of your weirdness; shake through the discomfort; and pour. Because when you lead with authenticity, you don’t just pack a punch, you make it one worth sharing.
